I have decided to wear my Vega today. A big thank you to V, who sent sent me some lovely vintage Vega for comparison. I will say they are close. But sadly, yes, the vintage is better. The iris is more prominent and there is less of a synthetic smell. The new version has more jasmine than iris. You can click here to read my original review:
