Hi Vic, thanks for your review of Insolence, I enjoyed that. Today I'm testing Montale Amandes Orientales - has vanilla and almond and a medicinal note (I'm thinking saffron) which keeps the sweetness under control. Have a great day!
Today I'm wearing Bond No.9 Chinatown. I liked your description of the new Guerlain, although I'm not familiar with Apres L'Ondee and so cannot compare it. If I were to try one first, which would you recommend?
Hi greeneyes, not sure I understand your question. If you love violets, Apres L'Ondee is an absolute must try. It is very cool and summery. It is probably the most referred to defining violet scent. Of the two I prefer Lipstick Rose though. Or you can just wait till August and try this one. It has a lot more presence than Apres L'Ondee. :O)

Oops...sorry! I meant between the two Guerlains, Insolence and Apres L'Ondee, which would you recommend? I think you managed to answer it, even though I wasn't clear. :)
I have a decant of Lipstick Rose that I haven't tried yet, though, so maybe I'll pull it out this week.
Oh ok, well I think it depends on your taste. If you like sweet and a little more oomph, then you will like this one. I'll be happy to send you some Apres L'Ondee to try. It's a little bit hard to find, and only available in EDT form now. (I have the EDT)

ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteJosephine for me today. It is really very nice for warmer weather, I have found recently. Just one more reason to love it!
I adore Josephine, it's so lovely!
ReplyDeleteVictoria, that's so kind of you! I'm so new to the perfume world, I don't think I have any goodies to offer in return. :( Perhaps chocolate?
ReplyDeleteNo need to reciprocate my dear, I have so much!
