Memorial Day - May 25th
Today our country pauses to honor the men and women who have died in military service to our country. Laying down their lives for our freedom.
Hawaiians call this Puwaina, the Hill of Sacrifice, more commonly known as the Punchbowl. This is the National Cemetery of the Pacific, is the final resting place for veterans of WWII, Korea, Vietnam and the Gulf War. Today our country pauses to honor the men and women who have died in military service to our country. Laying down their lives for our freedom.
Thanks to all who are currently serving and to those who have served! Our hearts remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedom. And to their families left behind, we will never forget.
