I'm wearing Tabarome Millesime by Creed. I get a lot of compliments on this one. I used to hate it but it's now become one of my favorites from the line.

Good morning MarkDavid, funny how those things can happen. Enjoy! Have a great day!

Hi Vic, thanks to you today I'm wearing Serge Lutens Chypre Rouge. It's funny - when I first sniffed it all I got was straight celery; today it's less vegetal, sweeter, and more resiny and "perfumey". Go figure!
Thanks again!
Terry

morgen! Parfumerie General No. 6 sample - Bergamot, smoky tea, and at times, oh dear, a whiff of armpit. Not my armpit, someone else's. Perhaps we'll just call that note cumin instead.

Hi Chaya, that one was a bit to dry for me, a little sweeter and It might be love. Hummm I wonder how it would be over the Kuumba Amber paste? As you know I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Le Maroc. :O)

I'm wearing Jaipur Homme today. I so totally love this! The perfect blend of vanilla, spice, amber, and heliotrope.

This is for Chaya, as per Victoria's suggestion ealrier on today. This morning, I wrote this to you, via Victoria's blog dated 8/31/06:

Many apologies to everyone, especially Victoria, for using the blog for sthg other than perfume talk; but I don't know how else to contact Chaya (and I guess that, since this is already over a week old, it may still not get to her).

Chaya, I've just seen your post here to Haus von Stone, saying that you're a mezzo and love Lieder - same here! I gave a recital of Schubert (amongst other things) back in April, and am planning one for late this year / early next, to include Hahn and (other) settings of Verlaine...

By the way, I'm trying out Hervé Léger Rose Leger on each elbow crook, and the straight Hervé Léger on each wrist; I also have a squirt of Demeter Black Russian somewhere around my nether regions bcs the bottle slipped as I was fiddling with it first thing this morning! To my surprise, I rather like the Rose; but I'm not sure about the straight HL: it has a funky, dark-blue and twisty note in it that I've found in various other perfumes, and I sadly suspect that it's sthg sinister to do with my skin chemistry, bcs I KNOW they're nice on other people... sigh...
