Scent of the Day - Thursday - 09/14/06

Today I am wearing my Anne Pliska. I have been so busy this week, I have been neglecting my reviews, I apologize! A baghari review is coming soon. The weather has really cooled off today, Anne Pliska felt just right. What are you wearing today?

I indulged a lemming I just couldn't kill, I bought a decant of Lorenzo Villoresi Alamut. I'm giving it a test run today.

Hi Vic!

I had a sample of 24 Faubourg from Nordie's when we went and I spritzed it on. Yuck!! This one is definitely not for me. I tried scrubbing it off with soap and water and it's still very much present.

I am lovin' this cool weather today.

Hi Vic, thanks to you I'm wearing and loving Caron Eau de Réglisse today. The ginger and other spicy notes are especially lovely in this one, very good paired with the licorice note.

Chaya, you smell divine! Ambre Sultan is the bomb!

Have a great day all,
Terry

Hi Victoria, it is cool and misty , and we have a light fog. It is a welcome change from the hot season.
Jacques Garcia room spray is a man's type of scent woods and cedar. I do like Jacques's furniture design. I am a big fan of architecture.

Sept. 30. 10 AM-4PM $75.00 tickets for a tour of Silver Lake Modernism. A tour of famed Architect John Lautner's iconic Silvertop home and more homes in the area. I seen the home but it was a long time ago, i can not remember by now. The number for anyone that loves architecture as much as i do. 323-250 3919. This is in Southern California Silver Lake area.
I am not sure i am going to make it to the tour ,i might be working but i think is worth a look.

Hi. Today was raining and I needed something comforting, so I sprayed on Chanel No. 5 edp. Yesterday was raining also and I used Burberry London (what used to be called "London" but is now just "Burberry" but it still says "London" on my bottle). And I grabbed the Burburry umbrella I got for buying the fragrance. So I was "co-ordinated". (I'm laughing at myself here.)
I used to live in Europe and I love your photos. My daughter was born in Heidelberg, Germany. So I have lots of nostalgic memories of Germany and Europe!
Did you do a mini-review of Samara not too long ago? I can't find it in your blog, but I'm sure it was on yours. I recently scored a bottle of Samsara at CVS. I think CVS is planning to quit carrying Samsara because they had a yellow marker under the bottle saying "SALE! Marked down to $29.99". That week they were also having a sale in general, "$10 off any fragrance", plus I had a cash register receipt coupon that gave me $10.00 off any purchase. So I scored a nice bottle of French edt for $10.00. Sweet! Just had to share my good fortune.
