Scent of the Day - Wednesday - 05/31/06

Today I'm wearing Montale Chypre Vanille. I'm not really a chypre girl, but this is very nice. What are you wearing?

(Thanks Victoria F for sample!)

Dear Victoria,
What a gorgeous photo of Tulips = Wow ! Yesterday I used Beautiful and today Diorissimo. Love that burst of floral - lily of the valley ! Have you tried Diorella?
It is a burst of sunshine - green though. Saw it at Saks NY. Vic, have you visited Mpntreal ? I'm going next week - Olgivey's and Holt Renfrew - are great perfume ,luxurious settings to browse and explore !
Love,
Madelyn E

Hi Madelyn, I have tried both Dioralla and Diorissimo, neither work for me. I've not had good luck with Dior fragrances.

I have not been to Montreal, but I hope to one day!

Wearing Bois d'Argent by Dior. I love this one. So subtle and soft and just overall great :-)

Hi Colombina, now there's a Dior I haven't tried. Have a lovely day!

Hi Vic, today I'm wearing Caron Le 3ème Homme. I think this is the third day in a row that I've picked a frag from this house - it's shaping up to be a Caron week! Hope your Wednesday is going well.

Hello Vic,

LA Ananas Fizz for me today. Yours sounds like something I want to try because of the vanilla. Is it wowing you or not so wowing you?

Dawn, I think you would like this, because it is different. I don't normally like chypres. Why do I like this? I'm confused. It's compelling.

Fleurs de Citronnier. The Montale sounds worth a sniff. I love chypres, m'self. P.S. your trip sounded like so much fun! Glad to have you back.

Thanks Cait! Well I gotta say after wearing this all day, I think I have to own this. When I get it, I'll be happy to send you a sample.

I'll have to wait till my friend goes to Paris next month, the Montales are so much cheaper there and you can buy the smaller sizes.
:O)
