Sampling L'Artisan's Dzongkha. Very different scent for me. I'm back and forth. There's a note that's stands out loud and clear on me and I don't know which one it is. The fragrance is so different from anything I have smelled perfume wise. However, when first applied it smells like Johnson's Baby Shampoo on steroids. Then it kind of mellows out and that's where it's at right now.
Hi Victoria, Not wearing anything yet, but I think today I'll wear Drole de Rose. It's wet and windy here, and I'm a bit under the (bad) weather.
Dawn--I sampled Dzongkha yesterday. I think the leather note is quite prominent, and then the incense, iris and peony. You'll be amazed at the lasting power...I hope you like it! I don't think I got the Johnson's Baby Shampoo thing yesterday--LOL!
L'Artisan's Dzongkha snuck up on me! I don't think I knew about it, or maybe I dismissed it as most LAs don't work for me. I must now seek this one out! LOL
I think it is the leather note. Thanks for mentioning that. :)
It's such a different scent. I'm starting to warm up to it now since the baby shampoo top notes are gone. It's almost masculine but not quite. It's pretty but not in a girlie way. So far the lasting power is great and that's not what I am used to with my L'Artisan's.
I'm interested to see how it plays out today. Kudos to L'Artisan for a scent that has gotten my attention. That hasn't happened to me in a very long time.
I just notices the little feed on my screen asking us to leave comments and I couldn't resist, so, today is rainy and foggy and perfect for Tea for Two which I put on juuust a touch too heavily, but heavenly even so.
Hi, Victoria, You were correct, the Boid Farine by L' Artisan, does have a peanut smell , right at the very beginning. I do not mind it , but it takes time to get used to it. I found an old book while looking for an old receipt , "Fabulous Fragrances" by Jan Moran. It brought back many memories, and a few regrets, because i should have taken the time to try a few of the perfumes listed. An oldie i loved was Bijan, and Miss Dior, Dioresssence etc. Next time i am at the stores i will not pass the perfume counter without at least trying one or two of the new ones.

Hi, folks-
Botrytis for me today- I'm tired, and it will put others in a good mood, as well...
I'm SO curious about the Dianthus...
Is it lush? Spicy-swoony? Do tell !
Hi Terry, oh I love soie rouge, you smell just lovely!!
Chaya, I'll be posting my review tomorrow - hopefully. It's a nice carnation, but it's light. If you love carnation you will probably want to own it.
:O)

Sorry, i am in a hurry , the right spelling is "Bois Farine by L'Artisan
Emotenote, thanks so much for posting! Stop by anytime!
Anna, my Gaultier2 that I love also has the peanut note, but it too fades soon enough. :O)
Enjoy!
I'm wearing Eau des Merveilles today.
I met a girl in my training class today that was wearing the new Vera Wang Princess. It was really nice on her. I'm surprised that I recognized it!
