For me today, a new fragrance from Paris called Ibiza by Cathy Guetta. A sweet Christmas gift from a friend.

Ooh, it's not often that Ibiza is mentioned anywhere. Did you get it from Europe? If I remember correctly it is a very nice fruity scent.

christina: Oh I love that one. It was all I could do not to splurge and get it. But I bought Luara Tonatto's instead.

colombina: Yes, it came from Germany. It's a fun fruity scent with mabe a little amber in the base. I was a great present, the box is a mirrored disco ball.

Hi Christina,
If you'll scroll down on my home page you'll find my review of L'Artisan Fleur d'Oranger. I compared it to the Serge Lutens Fleurs D'Oranger which I also own. The Serge Lutens is thicker, heavier and heady at times. Sometimes verging on cloying. But it has better staying power and more of a presence.

The L'Artisan's $250 price tag, warrants that you absolutely love it above all. And admittedly it's nice, but I'm not sure it's "above all". I had a small sample of Laura Tonatto Fiori d'Arancio that I used up over 3 months ago. A friend who's opinion I trust, says the Tonatto is actually nicer. So I just bought it, it came over the holidays but I have not opened it yet! When I do I'll add my comment. From my memory, I noted that I wanted to buy it. So I was sold on it rather quickly.
